Established in 2016, Gymfinity Sports Academy in Tredegar Wales. The programme is run and owned by Founder and owner Zoe and Paul Reed.

Last week, the Gymfinity Golden Girls, as they are nicknamed, competed at the ESPN Sports Centre in Florida at the World Cheerleading Championships, which is the Olympics of cheerleading.
The Cheerleading Worlds, an annual pinnacle of Allstar cheerleading hosted in America, draws teams worldwide to Florida’s ESPN Wide World of Sports. From humble beginnings with 14 teams in 2004, the championship now boasts over 500 teams and attracts over 10,500 All-Star athletes from 25 nations annually.
Since their debut at Worlds in 2019, Cheer From Head To Toe has seen the talent and passion their coaches and athletes possess. They debuted at Worlds back in 2019, hitting zero on both days, which is unheard of for a team’s first performance at Worlds, but not for the golden girls.
Last year, the team placed 8th, which is a respectable position for a team that had only been to Worlds twice before, but on their fourth trip, everything came together.
The Golden Girls; routine, not only appeals to the judges’ scoresheet but is also joyous to watch. Their routine is always fun, but it’s the execution of the choreography that makes them top-tier. When they perform, it’s evident that they love what they do and don’t take for granted every opportunity presented to them.
Then, to top it all off, after leaving their hearts on the floor, they made history, which will inspire many athletes and Welsh programs to come.
