A big trend in casual wear is the jersey t-shirt. The jersey t-shirt has been a big trend globally but especially in the USA.
CFHTT were sent similar style jersey by State-side we got sent their bestselling ‘Spirit Style Jersey’ / ‘Team Jersey’
We were also sent a bum bag which is making a comeback this year for those of you who didn’t experience the trend the first time around.
Bit about State-side
State-side was created by Jessica, a Cheerleader who has been cheering for four years.
State-Side was born out of her passion for American sportswear and the variety of trend setting designs. Taking inspiration from the States she has managed to come up with current, on-trend designs. Most of the items on the website can be customised for personal use or to cheer teams. State-Side is backed by its parent company i-Prints.co.uk and they have been providing quality printed garments to local and national sports clubs for the past 7 years. The first item we got sent was a black top with holographic writing on the back saying Cheerleader. On the front is a mini cheerleader holding a pair of poms with the word cheerleader in circular writing. The top is oversize which is the style of the jersey top trend.
The top is a nice quality made of a thin jersey material and feels soft on the skin. CFHTT likes this top but we don’t love it. When we first received this top we were concern about the Cheerleader and cheerleader logo coming off. We have washed this top several times on 40 degrees wash and the logos have not peeled off. We wear this top regularly to and from cheer as it fashionable and comfortable. Because of the quality of the material it is perfect to wear at this time of the year on those cool evening. We generally wear this item of clothing with legging as it’s a very sporty chic look. It’s a nice staple to have it the closet.

The other item we were sent was the cheer bum bagThe bum bag is black in colour with CHEER written in holographic writingThe bum bag has three compartments, one small compartment at the front, a larger compartment in the middle and a zipped compartment on the back.
The first compartment has a mesh division and a clip inside which would be great for keys.
The larger compartment is deceivingly big you can fit so much stuff in it. We could fit a large wallet, glasses case, hand sanitizer, phone, and a snack just in case hunger strikes.
The last component of the bag is zipped and has little hanging tag above it.
The belt strap is thick and adjustable to suit your waist size.
This Bum bag is really functional and would be perfect for competition but also to be used at festival or on nice walk. At competition you don’t always want to carry all your stuff around with you. That is why Bum Bag is great, you can go to the cheer store, go stunt or just have a wonder around the venue.

I really like the look of the ‘Cropped Girlie Zoodie’. I like keeping cosy in hoodies (I usually put one on after training to travel home), I like the fact that it zips up at the front as it does not mess up my cheer hair and finally the cropped style is cute.
Also the ‘Eat Glitter for Breakfast and Shine all day’ top made me laugh – maybe I should do this for competition days. –

My favourite things from Stateside are the SS Fashion shirts I especially like the grey one! I also really liked the crop cheerleader top. I hadn’t seen the bum bags before but I absolutely love them!!
Ordered one of their jersey tops as they offered one of the best deals and would fit it to my requirements with team logo! I absolutely loved it from as soon as I got it, wear it all the time, it such a nice cool and easy thing to wear and would highly recommend this company to anyone!
